Morning Light and Monte Cristo

Lars was interested in skiing Monte Cristo "directissimo" or a variation of it this morning. Due to life demands, I had a short window to do it. The morning ascent was filled with magical light.

While I complained the whole way down about skiing ice and avy debris, when we could have been skiing north-facing consolidated powder, like always, it was a delight to get out with Lars and the setting wasn't too bad either.
